Senior Business Analyst - VELUX
In this exciting role you’ll contribute to our ongoing quest to decrease our CO2 footprint and focus on decreasing cost, complexity and increasing quality. Your challenges
In Products Develop & Optimize, Sloped Roof Windows we excel in the four C’s. Customer, Complexity-out, Cost-out and CO2-out. To transform data into business oriented and actionable reporting, we need a skilled business analysist with flair for the fine art of efficient data mining for the purpose of business decision making. Primary decision makers are senior management and product category teams.

You will develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics systems, taking complicated problems and building simple intuitive UI user interface dashboards.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies i.e. via GenAI

Build reporting structures to support management on how to prioritize resources & investments ie. PMO reporting

Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization

Work directly with managers and users to gather requirements, provide status updates

You are curious, creative and explorative enough to challenge the traditional perspective of data – bring new perspectives to the table to improve decisions and performance perspectives.

Your key task in this role is to:

• Work closely with managers to understand their analytics needs and deliver actionable insights data driven to relevant decision-makers.
• Present, frame & visualize Frame, visualize and present data in a simple and structured and understandable way.
• Understand how to make data support “data driven decision making” based on an understanding of context – meaning, it is required to have Deliver a full value chain perspective and understanding of how data fits VELUX objectives & targets in a broader business perspective.
• Proactively analysise of data to answer key questions for stakeholders, with an eye on what drives business performance.
• Support Develop & Optimize management in any ad hoc and supplementary reporting or analysis tasks.

Qualifications
You have a degree as Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration eg. With a specialization in Business Intelligence, Operations and Supply Chain Analytics or the likelike Engineering.

2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferably from an organization with a complex supply chain.

You have:

• Proven analytics skills, including mining, evaluation, visualization and experience with data mining.
• Experience in developing queries, reports and presentations.
• Strong Excel, SAP & PowerBI skills and you are eager to learn and explore GenAI opportunities.
• Excellent at stakeholder management to learn the business needs
• Proven ability to understand complex supply chains and have an strong ability to couple data with our business strategy.

In addition you are:

• Structured and analytical and know the right level perfection adapted to the purpose
• Understand the language of the data source and speak the language of the report listener

In this role you should expect some travel approximately 20 days annually in Europe.
