Part time Software Developer – Master students

Lyngsoe Systems A/S is looking for part time student workers for Software development. You will join a small team of developers, where you will be an active part of the team like our full-time employees. You will receive training in the tools and technologies we are working with, and soon you will be able to contribute with object-oriented Software development.

The job

We are delivering Data Capture solutions in different verticals like Healthcare, Airports/Airlines, Postal & Logistics, Production & Logistics and others to well known customers all over the globe.

Our core competence is within IoT with a strong combination of Software development and radio-based tracking technology like RFID, BLE, Sigfox, LoRa, WiFi, GPS, LTE and others.

We manage our Software on all layers; from low level firmware in a RTOS environment written in C, embedded object-oriented C++ middleware in our own Linux environment to high level object-oriented Java code for our backend cloud-based server environment. We are using several third-party software technologies like Apache foundation (Kafka, Flink, Zookeeper, CXF…), MS Azure, Spring, Docker and others.

We are strongly focused on automatic test using Gtest in a Jenkins environment, and we are working in an agile team environment with daily SCRUM meetings supported by JIRA and Confluence tools.

You will be working together with an experienced Software developer that can help and guide you through your tasks. For the embedded Software tasks your first task will be to complete a small IOT project with a Raspberry Pi, an RFID reader and our Software base to gain knowledge about our programming environment.
