As a student assistant at the Centre for European Politics, Department for Politic Science at the University of Copenhagen, my main job is to assist the academic staff. The Centre is focused on the study of the EU and its variety of fields; from foreign policy, trade and social protections to integration and enlargement as well as the Euro and the single market.

Responsibilities:

Planning, organizing and promotion of EURECO lecturers

Monitoring of the researchers' contribution and involvement in the media

Planning and organizing research workshops, seminars and events

Updating and editing the Centre's connected websites

Promotion of the Centre on social media (facebook and twitter) including video production

I am responsible for teaching a weekly workshop/lecture in which I take on a interactive learning approach by involving the students in hands-on learning activities. It is furthermore my responsibility to prepare and arrange weekly lectures with guest lecturers specialized in the field of the EU.
The work also consists of overall development of the course and syllabus, student guidance and examination

Board for Promoting Debate in Europe (Europa-Nævnet/European Committee) was established as a result of the referendum on the Maastricht Treaty in 1992. The Board's purpose is to equip the Danes to take a position on European policy issues through an impartially support of information and debate-generating initiatives in the Danish public.

Responsibilities:

Project funding management

Website editing (Typo3 platform)

Processing of inquiries from citizens and beneficiaries

Planning, organizing and evaluation of conferences

Management support of the Committee and Committee Secretariat

- Producing various statistics (exel) and communication materials (presentation slides, information brochure, conferences materials ect.)

Student Assistant at the Danish Veterinary and Food administration under the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the ministerial service and citizen inquiries incl. management of the in-house produces materials.

Producing monthly and annual statistics concerning the ministerial service and in-house service

Responsible for various communication materials for the Management Secretariat incl. a Fact Book to the Danish embassies and the international partners and presentation slides for domestic and international conferences and meetings
