Post.doc in Collaborative policymaking in EU member states
The Department of Social Sciences and Business invites applications for a position as post-Doctoral researcher in Collaborative policymaking in EU member states. The researcher will be employed for three years to work on the research project ‘TROPICO’ funded under the EU H2020 programme. TROPICO seeks to comparatively examine how public administrations are transformed to enhance collaboration in policy design and service delivery, advancing the participation of public, private and societal actors. The relevant project work package is led by Professor Peter Triantafillou, Roskilde University. The position is available from January 1, 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is linked to the research group ‘Roskilde School of Governance’.
The Post-Doctoral position includes research, teaching and outreach obligations. The applicant should match the profile below:
Responsibilities and tasks:
The post-Doctoral’s duties will primarily include research (including publication/academic dissemination duties) within the TROPICO Project (primarily work package 8 dealing with accountability and legitimacy in collaborative policymaking in EU member states) and also research-based teaching (with associated examination duties) within the following teaching programmes: ‘Forvaltning’, International Public Administration and Politics, and the Social Science Bachelor Programme. In addition to research and research-based teaching, the position also includes a duty to share knowledge with the rest of society – including participation in the public debate. Furthermore, the post doc is expected to participate in research and teaching group activities.

Applicants must hold a PhD degree or equivalent in an appropriate field. You are also required to be enterprising, to possess good interpersonal skills and to be a visible, active participant in the department’s daily activities, in addition to being willing to engage in disciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration across the department.

Terms of employment:
The postdoc will be filled according to the Agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The postdoc is covered by the Protocol on Job Structure.
