We have an ambition of establishing a “best-in-class” finance function in Agreena, and in the role as Senior General Ledger Accountant you are part of ensuring and optimizing efficient and trustworthy accounting policies and workflows.

In the role of Senior General Ledger Accountant, you will have a versatile and exciting work day, where you will have the opportunity to influence and make an impact on your own tasks in a new and dynamic team. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team that collaborates across tasks and are inquisitive.

How will you make an impact:

• Daily bookkeeping
• Reconciliations, such as bank, Fixed assets, etc.
• Booking and reconciliation of payroll
• Being a contact person for payroll (together with HR)
• VAT and Intrastat reporting
• Various AR and AP tasks
• Participation in month-end
• Ad hoc tasks

Who we’re looking for:

• Relevant education background in finance (i.e. finansøkonom)
• Minimum 5 years of experience within bookkeeping
• Collaboration mindset
• Detail oriented
• Ability to provide recommendations for optimization identified during daily tasks.
• Ability to communicate verbally and written in English.
• Knowledge of Danish VAT rules

Bonus points if you have:

• Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics365F&O
• Prior experience with payroll
