Are you ready to lead a team of high-performing strategists and drive the implementation and development of Arla Foods' corporate strategy, Future26? This is a unique opportunity to join Arla Foods’ Group Strategy team – lead your own team and set your mark on the future direction of one of the largest FMCG companies in the Nordics.

How you will make an impact

You will join the Group Strategy team and become an integral part of lifting our joint agenda which consists of several areas of responsibility. You will be responsible for:

• Co-leading the implementation of Future26 strategy in close collaboration with the Head of Strategy and Business Development, ensuring that we deliver on our strategic bets, track our progress and impact and adjust the course along the way
• Driving strategic cross-functional projects for the Executive Management Team of Arla - this could be market, category or network related projects that require your strategic leadership and a strong business development toolbox
• Project-leading the development of the new Arla Strategy which will succeed Future26 (work to start in 2025), playing an instrumental role in shaping the next chapter of Arla
• Day-to-day management of a team of 6 amazing strategists (analysts, associates and managers) who are eager to perform and develop, having you as their leader
• Being a member of the Strategy and Business Development Leadership Team, contributing to the overall direction and performance of the function.
• This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with strategy and business development directly with our top management and other senior leaders. It will provide you with ample development opportunities as we have overly broad exposure to different tasks and network across the full organisation. It will therefore work as a strong foundation for potential next career step in Arla.
• You will become part of our Strategy and Business Development team, which consists of high-caliber people with e.g. top-tier consulting backgrounds. The team has significant opportunities to truly impact our business as we are working on the most critical strategic projects across the full value chain.

What will make you successful

You have a business economics or finance degree or similar at master's level and have 5-8 years’ experience from a top-tier management-consulting firm or similar kind of experience from the industry. Preferably, you also have relevant industry experience from a large FMCG company.

We expect that:

• You have proven experience in leading and developing teams of consultants or analysts, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• You have strong project management skills and can handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, while managing senior stakeholders and sponsors.
• You are a problem-solver that can work with complex data and advanced financial models to find effective solutions.
• You have a strategic mindset that can structure recommendations and create high-quality material to set the direction.
• You have been part of corporate strategy projects in the past for other companies and have a good understanding of the FMCG industry and its dynamics.
• Moreover, you should be a skilled communicator and change agent with an open mind as you will be working across many markets and organisational areas. Your level of drive lies far above average, and your can-do-attitude enables you to challenge the status quo and find ambitious solutions. An excellent command of PowerPoint, Excel, and English is a must.

Finally, you are a team player that will be part of a high-performing group of people. As a leader you will engage in developing the Group Strategy team and drive a winning culture across the Strategy community.
