DIS/CREADIS is continuing to grow and expand our activities within our Life Science division, and we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Business Development Director to plan and execute the growth strategy in Denmark, Europe and the US. The right candidate will ideally be based in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are a global engineering company offering highly specialized engineering consultancy services, helping clients design, build and improve complex systems, products and projects. With experience in Life Science – within pharma and medical device development – DIS/CREADIS provides expertise in meeting the challenges that our clients face.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Director’s focus will be to create and execute the strategic business development plan for the Life Science industry. You will be working locally with a global impact and thereby contributing to the overall development of the organization capabilities within the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology industry.
Responsibilities include
- Developing and executing the life science sales strategy.
- Prospecting, creating, and leveraging potential new business opportunities.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the customer organization.
- Pursuing awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, client meetings to signed client contract agreements and post-delivery client care.
- Work closely together with internal stakeholders locally and globally to ensure activities are in according to the global sales strategy.
- Contribute to the internal knowledge pool of Life Science capability development toward meeting market trends.
- Keeping up to speed on industry news and market trends to ensure DIS/CREADIS will continue to be first runners.
- Participating and representing DIS/CREADIS at industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree ideally in business, engineering, or another relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in selling either within or to the Life Science industry as well as a proven sales record.
- Solid experience in developing a sales strategy and successful execution.
- Ability to persistently pursue new business development opportunities in a competitive marketplace.
- Have an existing client network within the pharmaceutical, medical device and/or biotech industry.
- Experience in working with long sales cycles.
- A self-starter who is highly driven and works well independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to influence others internally and externally.

Salary: Competitive Compensation package
Travel Activity: 10-30%
