If so, we have opened for another exciting opportunity as our new Billund-based Unreal Generalist that awaits you!

Core Responsibilities

  • Implement and support game systems implemented in UEFN.
  • Work closely with producer, design, and art subject areas in the development of game experiences.
  • Play an active role in the design of the game and gameplay systems.
  • Collaboration with teams and departments within the LEGO Group to ensure consistent asset pipeline and connected experiences.
  • Capable of quick iteration and feedback loops while working with the team – striking the right balance between feature set, security, quality, and deadlines.
  • Bring curiosity to explore new technologies and ways of working that can help us improve and move our systems.

The LEGO Games team is responsible for all game products across the LEGO Group. It is our ambition to demonstrate that games based on the LEGO Idea can be the most fun, creative and collaborative, while being safe. Developed for everyone and loved by players all ages.

You will join the LEGO GAME team and work within a multi-functional team delivering family friendly games around the world.

Please note: These are permanent positions based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support is not offered for this role.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent working experience.
  • Being a great teammate, with a positive demeanor and good collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine or UEFN, alternative Unity.
  • Passion to create and work with creative team members to build outstanding games.w
  • Thrives upon change. Comfortable prototyping and working with iterative development process.
  • Ability to organise and create transparency around own work, and the work of others.
  • Superb communication skills, written and verbal in English.
  • Positive Problem solver.
  • A shipped game from start to finish.
