Our app seamlessly translates strategic directives from high-level command centres to soldiers in the field, enhancing their situational awareness and optimising battlefield operations. Deployed across tablets, vehicles and Android devices, our product is extensively used by NATO forces. A quality-conscious and collaborative team
Our team comprises four committed Software Engineers and a dedicated Tester, operating within the Scrum framework and led by a Scrum Master. We prioritise structured workflows to uphold the highest standards of quality in our work. While we function autonomously, we are part of a larger programme (Mobile programme) comprising six Scrum teams, including two Scrum teams based in Romania.

Troubleshoot, optimise, design and implement
Your main responsibility is to develop full-stack software applications with a front-end in Angular and a back-end in Java. Therefore, you will …

• troubleshoot, optimise and solve complex problems in an existing codebase
• design and implement new features together with our Domain Experts, User Experience Designer and Software Architect
• ensure the quality of the solution by reviewing and inspecting the design and code made by your developer colleagues.

If you are sufficiently interested and curious, there is also the possibility of looking at DevOps tasks with a view to broadening your skill set and contributing to the team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Deliver high-quality code that matters

• Ideally you hold an MSc in Software Engineering or similar
• You have min. 5 years of experience from a similar role
• You have experience with either back-end development in Java or front-end experience in Angular – preferably experience with both
• You speak and write English fluently
