We are offering an attractive position with responsibility for linking Supply Chain Operation and Project Execution. You will act as Project User Manager scoping, justifying, and executing CAPEX projects as well as developing the overall Technical Development Plan for the Finished Goods Manufacturing areas in Supply Chain Operation EMEIA.

Welcome to Supply Chain Operation - Europe, Middle East, India, Africa (SCO EMEIA)
SCO EMEIA is one of three regional supply chain functions and employs just over 200 people. The area is responsible for all finished goods handling; liquid and solid, in the production sites in Kalundborg and Bagsværd. The function has a close collaboration with a lot of areas inside Novonesis, external vendors and suppliers. New technologies and automation of production are natural parts of our way of working and they help us increase productivity and expand our capabilities for servicing our customers. We are in the middle of a major strategic transformation aiming to turn Novonesis’ supply chain into a truly competitive differentiator. This implies handling more product variants, adding new packaging formats, and serving many more customer segments.

The position is anchored in SCO EMEIA Growth team where we deliver the projects required to support the growth and development of the finished goods areas.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Delivering CAPEX projects which supports the strategic development of SCO EMEIA
• Defining the right requirements and solutions for optimizing flows and processes supporting Supply Chain productivity targets and journey
• Being a strong team player, taking responsibility for a great work environment where team spirit, engagement and caring are important
• Connecting many stakeholders inside and outside Supply Chain to create strong solutions and collaboration

To succeed you must:

• You will need to translate your scientific understanding into everyday real-life handling of big scale production issues. You combine scientific talent with practical approach and communication skills. The preferred candidate has:
• Strong and documented project manager skills, and knowledge about CAPEX projects
• Experience with designs of process equipment, production areas and GMP/hygiene under FSSC22000 requirements
• Experience with development of Technical Development Plans within production equipment, production areas, and automation from a similar position/industry
• Experience in preparing business cases and Investment Applications for both small, large complex projects
• A high drive and seek to influence technology choices and better practice sharing

Job Responsibilities

• Take on the role as Project User Manager in minor/medium/complex CAPEX projects
• Support Project Execution (PE) in preparation of Investment Application material
• Support the line of business (LoB) regarding documentation of project motivation and charter
• Responsible for user requirement specifications and justification for investment projects
• Support LoB in finding the right solutions to technical problems regarding design and operation of new equipment
• Ensure a high degree of cooperation between the LoB, Maintenance, and PE
• Evaluation of project goals on implemented investment projects
• Training of employees in LoB before handover of the project
• Co-chair Project Committee meetings with Project Manager from PE
• Lead the Technical Development Plan process in cooperation with the Technology Manager and LoB
• Take part in strategic work and give input to new potential scenarios and Master Plan development
• Consolidate broad acceptance of the strategy across relevant sites and departments

The primary working language for this position is Danish. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Danish are required.
