Voor ons saleskantoor in Nederland (Amsterdam/Schiphol regio) waar vanuit wij de Benelux- en Franse markt bedienen, zoeken wij ter uitbreiding van ons team meerdere Technical Sales Engineers met focus op de Nederlandse machinebouwmarkt. Wij zoeken mensen met een ondernemersgeest die in staat zijn zelfstandig business te genereren. Er wordt verwacht dat je het technisch concept van een industriële automatiseringsoplossing voor het voetlicht kunt brengen en dat je in staat bent lange termijn relaties op te bouwen en te onderhouden met (prospect) klanten. Enerzijds ga je achter new business aan waarbij je beseft dat meer belletjes leiden tot meer succes, anderzijds bedien je bestaande klanten die je middels accountmanagement aan het uitbouwen bent. Werkervaring en/ of studieachtergrond op het gebied van Industriële automatisering zijn een pré. Zo niet dan moet daar veel enthousiasme en gedrevenheid tegenover staan om het vak te willen leren.

Beijer Electronics is een Zweedse fabrikant die wereldwijd actief is op het gebied van industriële automatiseringsoplossingen met van oudsher een focus en specialisme op HMI-bedienapplicaties. Beijer Electronics biedt zijn klanten een portfolio van kwalitatief hoogstaande hardware en flexibele software dat bestaat uit o.a. HMI, PLC, IO en IDC-producten. De focus markten zijn Marine, Energie, infrastructuur en de maakindustrie. The opportunity
We are looking for a team player with technical knowledge responsible for driving and supporting the development of new businesses focusing on OEM customers. In line with the strategic business plan, you will identify target customers and position yourself as a trusted advisor. You will be a part of the Benelux/France team which means that your support might be needed in those areas as well.

The majority of your day will be spent at customers' sites where your focus is to drive long-term customer relationships that create benefits for all parties. You will act as a technical advisor on concept level and as a product consultant in your field. In this job, among other things, you will be prospecting and approaching new customers on the phone, visiting and attending fairs, following up on leads and doing quotations with the goal of closing them.

You will work with the latest technology and have the opportunity to impact an organization that conforms to and believes in the knowledge, passion and experience of its people being the strategic strength.

The successful applicant
We believe that you have previous experience and a strong track record in B2B sales within an international, industrial technology environment. In addition, your experience should be driven by introducing high-value solutions and services to new customers.

You have the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels in an organization. This, combined with the ability to organize and manage a portfolio of tasks, means you are not only able to develop, but also to implement strategic business plans.

You are a team player who builds trust, both internally and externally, which will energize your enthusiasm, willingness to learn and passion for business.
