We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of project management experience in delivering technology projects, who can deliver Financial Crime Intelligence Investigations and Analytics (FCIIA) strategic projects. About this opportunity
FCIIA, situated within Group Financial Crime Prevention, provides specialist capabilities to support enterprise-wide Complex Investigations, Proactive Strategic Intelligence and Financial Crime Monitoring capabilities. FCIIA also provides subject matter expertise to support analytics initiative to drive great efficiency and effectiveness across traditional financial crime monitoring and detection capabilities.

As a Senior Project Manager in FCIIA, reporting to the Head of Projects, you will manage change activities to deliver technical solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and deliver complex technology projects for FCIIA (example: machine learning & AI projects).
  • Manage data driven financial crime initiatives to help reduce financial crime risk to Nordea.
  • Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders (both IT and business users) to ensure the end-to-end management of a project.
  • Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence.
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership.
  • Management reporting and oversight.

  • Proven project management experience (10+ years) of implementing technical change solutions.
  • Experience of delivering technology projects
  • Ability to manage complex assignments at various levels of maturity across multiple teams, adept at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Proactive, great organisational, project, and time management skills.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Exceptional ability to solve problems and think analytically.
  • Team player & able to collaborate with others.
  • University degree ideally in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • Experience within financial crime prevention would be considered a strong plus.
