Head of QC Support

Are you ready to lead and inspire a dedicated QC Support team within a rapidly expanding CDMO? FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in Hillerød is seeking a proactive and passionate individual to become our new Head of QC Support. About the Role and Team

As the Head of QC Support, you will oversee a diverse organization of approximately 60 professionals across five specialized teams: Sample Control, Lab Support, TT & Sample Support, Instruments, and QC Systems. This position reports directly to the Head of QC and is a part of our senior leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions and forward-thinking policies that align with our overall mission.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the QC Support department, building a culture of continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
• Collaborate with peers within QC and other site departments.
• Initiate strategic initiatives, match team goals with corporate objectives to improve how we work.
• Oversee critical functions including sample collection, storage, specification preparation, compliance support, change management, instrument validation, and LIMS support.
• Commit to cGMP compliant processes and systems, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability in our deliverables.

Qualifications:

• A leader with at least 10 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or related fields, with a strong background in quality control.
• Proven track record of managing complex teams and projects, with a flair for strategic planning and operational excellence.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
• A dynamic problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, adapting to shifting priorities.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on team success.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Danish is beneficial but not required.
