QC Instrument Engineer for QC Instrument Support

In QC Instrument Support our main tasks include ensuring laboratory instruments and associated software are qualified and maintained in accordance with cGMP guidelines in both QC and manufacturing. We support internal stakeholders in QC and production by identifying and implementing process enhancements, automation opportunities and new technology. Within the team we work closely together as a unit utilizing each other’s inputs and strengths to achieve our goals.

Key tasks for the position

• Coordinate and perform instrument qualification and associated software qualification across multiple different laboratories and manufacturing units
• Identify and implement instrument solutions that increase compliance, integration, automation and empowers the end-users
• Help us provide first class support to our stakeholders as part of a close-knit team that utilizes each other’s strengths
• Drive and support projects within the team and in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Ensure instrument systems and the supporting documentation complies with cGMP and Data Integrity
• Utilize your knowledge to work closely together with the team to innovate and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications and Education

• We are looking for a colleague who loves to implement instruments and new technology while keeping an eye on the end-user benefit and understand the importance of teamwork to help achieve our common goals
• With the current ongoing site expansion in scope, you must be able to handle many tasks and changing priorities in a busy GMP environment.
• Almost all tasks require buy-in from stakeholders, so you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills
• You have experience with instrument or equipment qualification or maintenance, data integrity and with working in a support function
• IT flair and/or experience is a benefit, but not a requirement
• You have 3+ years of experience with cGMP and pharmaceutical manufacturing
• You have an educational degree within Natural Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering or equivalent
• Fluency in English is required as we are an international company
